Airports - Αεροδρόμια

Η Κρήτη ως μεγάλος τουριστικός προορισμός έχει τρία αεροδρόμια ,στο Ηράκλειο στα Χανιά και στη Σητεία. Τα αεροδρόμια του Ηρακλείου και των Χανίων συνδέονται με Αθήνα, Θεσσαλονίκη και Αλεξανδρούπολη με δρομολόγια όλο το χρόνο. Τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες λόγω αυξημένης τουριστικής επισκεψιμότητας, τα δρομολόγια αυξάνονται για την κάλυψη των αναγκών.

Επίσης τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες, υπάρχει απευθείας ανταπόκριση με τις μεγαλύτερες πόλεις της Ευρώπης. Τα αεροδρόμια του Ηρακλείου και των Χανίων συνδέονται με την πόλη μέσω αστικών λεωφορείων και ταξί.

Το αεροδρόμιο της Σητείας ,είναι το μικρότερο του νησιού και εξυπηρετεί κυρίως δρομολόγια εσωτερικού και εκτάκτου ανάγκης. Το αεροδρόμιο της Σητείας συνδέεται με την πόλη μόνο με ταξί.

Crete is one of the most popular touristic destinations and therefore there are 3 different airports on the island, in Heraklion, in Chania and in Siteia. The airports of Heraklion and Chania have flights to and from Athens, Thessaloniki and Alexandroupoli throughout the whole year. During the summer months, these flights tend to increase, due to the boost of the incoming and outcoming aircrafts.

Apart from these, during the summer months there are also direct flights to and from the biggest cities of Europe. There is also bus and taxi service to the airports of Chania and Heraklion within the city, to ease the passengers. The airport of Siteia is the smallest one and its mainly itineraries are domestic itineraries as well as these of an emergency. There is only taxi service to and from the airport of Siteia.
